Wonderful time at the Eagle Inn My husband and I stayed at the Eagle Inn for 3 nights and had the most relaxing and comfortable short vacation! We stayed in the Santa Barbara casita which was absolutely lovely. It was spacious with a 1930s era feel, but modernized with all of the comforts. The Inn has many wonderful features including their breakfast which was tasty, varied and arrived at our casita timely each morning. The staff at the front desk as well as housekeeping all were kind and helpful. Santa Barbara is a wonderful place to go for a short stay if you want good food, good weather and wonderful places to to visit. The Inn is very central to all of the local attractions. I recommend staying at the Eagle Inn for a nice place to rest at the end of each day.

This gem! I have stayed here 3 times and it never disappoints. It is the perfect location-residential street, a couple blocks from the water and a couple blocks from downtown and the funk zone. The rooms are delightful with a soaking tub and fireplace if you want them. I recently stayed and was upgraded to a casita, which was like having my own apartment! There’s a parking lot which makes having a rental easy and breakfast is deelish every morning. It’s a perfect bed and breakfast and I will continue to stay here!

Great location! Clean rooms! Friendly service, namely Peter! The Eagle Inn is a 10 minute away from our favorite bakery, Helena. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the train station and about a 5 minute walk to the beach - Perfect location. We were going to stay one night and ended up staying three nights because we love it so much! We are definitely coming back!

Perfect location for beach, strolling, restaurants, shops. Peter at the front desk was super helpful and explained everything. Beds were comfy, room was relaxing, the inn was very clean, and we loved the breakfast. I would stay again! We ended up in an “accessible” room, so counter storage in the bathroom was a bit tight for us and I could have used more hooks, but otherwise it was excellent! I realize they needed to put in narrow depth shelves and not have storage underneath the sink to accommodate a wheelchair.

Nicely appointed & clean rooms and suites with pleasant and responsive staff. Perfect location for all downtown and waterfront activities. Fair price point for quality rooms and service. Highly recommended!

The Eagle Inn provides a soaring experience! We met our daughter in Santa Barbara to celebrate her birthday. Our stay at The Eagle Inn was wonderful. I loved the Spanish influence, the meticulously clean rooms, the friendliness of the staff and, of course, the delicious breakfast! The restaurants are within walking distance. We especially enjoyed the evenings, sitting out on the patio, while enjoying the warm and serene nights. I highly recommend The Eagle Inn!

Way beyond the call of duty, and a great location! The location is excellent, providing easy walks to many sights and restaurants along the Santa Barbara coast. The full breakfast is a plus, and its entree is changed daily. But the best part of our stay was meeting Peter, the afternoon receptionist, who is studying Latin and Ancient Greek. He's smart, sociable, and fun to talk with. He was also very thoughtful, and lit our outside fire pit every night, even finding my lost sunglasses on the last day!

We spent a couple of days at Eagle Inn and absolutely loved it. We stayed in the Valentine’s Suite (decorated at our request) which was perfect - cozy, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed. The fireplace added just the right touch of romance and made the stay feel extra special.

The staff was wonderful and truly stood out with their friendliness and excellent customer service.

Breakfast being included was a really nice surprise. It’s not a buffet; it’s made to order and completely free, which felt like such a thoughtful touch.

The location is another huge plus. It’s within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach, which made getting around incredibly easy and enjoyable.

Overall, a great experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend. 💖

We had a wonderful time in Santa Barbara including our stay at the Eagle Inn. It's walking distance to the small harbor where there are a couple nice restaurants to pick from. The Casitas accommodation was excellent, and the location fairly quiet from the busy Castillo Blvd. The free breakfast was good getting to pick from a couple options. The staff is helpful and courteous, and always looking to make our stay better in any way. Highly recommending staying the Eagle Inn. We'll be reserving our spot there when we return to Santa Barbara in the future.

If you want a truly great experience in Santa Barbara stay at the Eagle Inn. From the fresh made chocolate chip cookies to the fresh made breakfast every morning you can’t go wrong. Love this place and you will too. Great location.

Stayed for one night and had an outstanding experience. Soon after my reservation, Peter emailed me to give me a couple options for my room. I did not request this, but I really appreciate them reaching out and offering this courtesy. Upon arrival, the front desk was very welcoming and friendly, even offering a few points of interest around Santa Barbara.

The cottage-style room was perfect, very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was warm and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We were able to get a good night's sleep and there were no issues with noise.

The next morning, we had the provided breakfast, and it was very good. The server was very friendly, and we ate on the patio area. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and we will definitely book again next time we are in the area.

I booked a room with a Jacuzzi for two to celebrate my husband’s birthday and his happy retirement. The architecture and the history of the inn was very interesting and we were amazed that building has been well maintained. The room we booked was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated for Valentine’s Day. Even the chairs and the side table on balcony were dusted and cleaned, which could be usually ignored. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean. We loved the touch of beautiful tiles here and there and beautiful wooden furniture with carving not only in the room but also in the lovely dining room and everywhere. The West Beach, two piers and the famous State Street are all within waking distance. We enjoyed walking on the pier and watching the beautiful sunset. The Eagle Inn surely is one and only inn in Santa Barbara!

Quaint hotel just two blocks from the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. Next time we are back to Santa Barbara, we will definitely stay at the Eagle Inn again.

Charming Inn The Eagle Inn is absolutely charming. The staff is warm and welcoming.
The hotel offers lots of attention to details of what guests would enjoy, such as freshly ground coffee in the lobby. Breakfast on the outside balcony was delicious. We will definitely be staying here again.

We are longtime fans of the Eagle Inn. Our recent stay was as fine as all the others. A good welcome, fresh-cooked breakfasts and the delightful sound of the railroads passing through Santa Barbara. Plus the closeness to the ocean. Yes, we’ll be back.

This is a gem near the beach in Santa Barbara. It is in a charming Spanish colonial building. The rooms are spacious with comfortable mattresses. Breakfast cooked to order in a lovely room or on patio. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. For Santa Barbara I think it is reasonable especially since breakfast is Included
